The 2026 Round Top Fall Antiques Show entered its second week on Tuesday, October 27, marking the opening of Gage Hall. The new structure completes phase two of an 18-month restoration project at Marburger Farm in Round Top. This expansion adds 7,500 square feet of temperature-controlled shopping space to the 43-acre property.
The hall sits on Main Street between Tent 2 and The Park. It will house 12 curated dealers who source antiques and vintage pieces from around the world. The construction concludes a project that also involved updating and relocating 10 historic buildings. Those structures now centralize around a newly developed green space with brick walkways that mimic a traditional town square.
Marburger CEO John Sughrue stated that the goal was to deliver the best antique show experience. He described the completion of the site as a real milestone for dealers, longtime guests, and new visitors. The farm aims to be more than a twice-yearly event venue with this new infrastructure.
The design of Gage Hall blends contemporary features with historic elements. Builders used reclaimed wood and salvaged materials from the farm to contrast with modern sky glass. Traditional board-and-batten siding and a Texas metal roof coexist with these modern details. The structure is intended to reflect the farm's heritage while supporting future dynamic programming.
Notable vendors in the new space include Jay Bearden of Patternmill, based in Mallorca, and Bradley Hester of B. Hester Antiques. Hester specializes in distinctive antiques, art, and textiles from Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Marburger Farm changed hands five years ago and is now owned by Dallas-based Brook Partners. It was founded in 1997 on a dairy farm by Ed Gage.
The property will debut a winter show in January. Sughrue noted that spring and fall shows remain the marquee moments, but the farm is now available year-round for private rentals. The company also operates the Dallas Art Fair, the Aspen Art Fair, and the Fashion Industry Gallery. This adds cultural resources to the property's programming.
A new entertainment pavilion overlooking the pond serves full breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus alongside a full bar. Beverage pop-ups include W6 Coffee Co., Amanecer Co., Clementine Coffee, and Big Hat Mocktails. Live music is scheduled throughout the show, including performances by Rebecca Patek and Sophia Johnson, Monica Valli, The Reed Brothers, and Ian Kocourek.
The Marburger Farm Antique Show runs from 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, through 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 31. Tickets cost $15 for unlimited entry. Early bird tickets are $40 and include 9 a.m. access to the promenade and Gage Hall on October 27, plus complimentary coffee and mimosas. Closing day falls on Halloween, featuring a trick-or-treat trail with dozens of dealers handing out candy.
